DESCRIPTION

The Polyaspartic 7450 is a solvent-based, two-component, aliphatic polyaspartic coating designed to coat concrete floors providing incredible abrasion resistance and chemical resistance. Recommended for indoor areas with high risk of exposure to chemical spills, fuel, heavy equipment, extreme temperatures and any other potentially damaging situation the substrate may encounter. Polyaspartic 7450 has an exceptionally fast dry-time, with a tack-free dry-time of a 3-7 hours which makes it the best choice for projects where a thin build coating is desired with a limited period of time for installation. Great for use on concrete countertops and concrete feather finish countertops where an extremely durable coating is needed.

QUESTIONS & ANSWERS

Ask a Question
  • Is this a self leveling product? I have 1100 ft.² to cover. How much of the product will I need? Is this a high gloss product? I have read that polyaspartic floor coating can be applied on a polyurethane/epoxy surface applied to a garage floor. Can you confirm that this is correct?

It is self leveling to a point but still needs to be rolled for the best results.

200 sqft per gallon, so 5.5 gallons would cover your 1100 sqft.

It is a high gloss product.

Typically it is used as a stand alone product but can be used over top of epoxy.

  • What about slip resistance

The short pot life of the polyaspartic doesn't work well with the grip additive.  Give us a call and we may have another solution for you.

  • At what temperatures can this be applied?

    55 to 90 degrees Fahrenheit

  • How slippery is this product. Does it need grip additive

It can get slippery when wet,  but not as bad as other sealers.  Typically a grip is not added.
